Ashley is a Birmingham based freelance photographer with a wide area of expertise.
Starting his photographic work as far back as 1988, originally in the corporate sector during the good old days of 35mm film, moving into wedding work, studio portraiture and then majorly into wildlife photography in 2005.
His portfolio of wildlife images is ever growing and is enhanced regularly with images taken on the holidays he leads to various locations in the UK and worldwide, through his business Experience Nature. Ashley is well known in The Gambia, having taken groups of Birdwatchers and Photographers here twice each year since 2011.
The holidays to the Spanish Pyrenees are also becoming very popular, as the base for these trips is one of very few sites where all four European Vultures can be seen and photographed at very close quarters, just a very short walk from idilic mountain top accommodation, it really is a stunning location.
Ashley also leads regular holidays to Trinidad & Tobago, Sweden, Honduras, Portugal, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Catalonia and Montenegro, each very special in their own right. Experience Nature holidays in the UK start from as little as £325.
He is also very busy on the lectures circuit, sharing his wildlife images and stories to all kinds of groups and organisations. Officially recommended by the RSPB and Royal Horticultural Society, he talks to groups from Scotland to Kent and from Wales across to Suffolk.
As the wildlife holidays have been so successful, Ashleys other photographic work has been put on ice, with a 100% focus now on creating well priced, eco friendly, wildlife watching experiences for our regular travellers and new customers alike.
